Thorough cleaning and disinfecting processes keep our communities safe and sparkling inside and out.
All Pathway communities' common areas and high-touch surfaces receive diligent cleaning and disinfecting at least four times daily. A monthly electrostatic spray provides every community with regular, in-depth sanitization.
At the start of each shift, Pathway team members, as well as visiting health care providers, change into clean uniforms and, as always, continue to practice frequent and meticulous hand washing.
The community conducts a monthly electrostatic spray to help reduce germs and we have increased air filtration throughout the community.

Going above and beyond to adhere to infection control guidelines gives Pathway people the best protection and confidence in our care.
Access to each community is limited to the front entrance and only to team members, emergency personnel, essential health care workers and vendors, and pre-approved family members and caregivers.
Upon entering, Pathway team members, and anyone else visiting, undergo a health screening and temperature check. Face masks that cover the nose and mouth are worn by residents, visitors and team members, who also wear additional protective equipment, as appropriate, including face shields, gloves, goggles, gowns, hair nets and shoe coverings.
Beyond following strict, on-the-job infection control protocols, team members take the “Pathway Pledge,” vowing that – even outside of work – they remain dedicated to keeping residents and each other safe by pledging to:

Be assured, team members and resident also undergo ongoing coronavirus testing to provide Pathway the insight necessary to continue operating healthy and safe communities.

Indoors, residents spread out and mask up for lifelong learning programs, hallway happy hours and salon appointments.
