Vision

Pathway’s operating philosophy is a vision that guides the decision making of every employee at every level. We don’t just post our vision, mission and values on a wall; instead, we help to instill the values of the organization and reinforce those values through our actions. Four guiding priorities – safety, compassion, presentation and efficiency – help to create memorable resident experiences that exceed expectations.

  • Our primary responsibility is to our residents and their families.
To meet and exceed their expectations, we will strive for the highest quality while maintaining reasonable prices. We will maximize our efficiency and minimize our impact on the environment. We will develop an inviting environment where people are proud to live or visit. We will show compassion in every occasion of need.
  • We are responsible to our employees.
Each of them must be considered as an individual. We will respect their dignity and recognize their merit. Employees must be encouraged and feel free to make suggestions and approach their supervisors. We will always learn from one another by seeking to understand and to be understood. We will collaborate and cooperate to solve problems and meet our quality and service initiatives. We will provide management that is competent, supportive, just and ethical. Our managers will seek to improve and develop the organization to its highest potential.
  • We are responsible to our investors.
We will run a profitable business so that residents are well cared for, employees are competitively rewarded, and investors are supportive of our plans. We will always look for ways to improve, and in doing so, will experiment with new ideas and adapt our processes. But in everything we do, we shall remain committed to our vision, mission and values.
