When Margaret decided to move into your Assisted Living apartment, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed to learn that she would be 27 miles away from me and my family. I soon learned why she chose to do that. She wanted to be independent, live in a lovely place, make new friends, and feel safe with all the security and amenities you offer. I can see now that she chose well. Her needs were completely met.

She was very happy living at Victory Centre, enjoyed the activities, the meals, the outings, the new friends, your senior staff, the CNAs and all the residents who lived there. It became her new world. Unfortunately after a while her health took a down turn, and she became unhappy with her condition. She has never been ill in her lifetime, and traveled extensively with her husband and friends. The care, compassion and kindness extended to her by everyone was wonderful. However, when she was in pain she became irritable, and I am sure she was not always pleasant to your staff. Still , they all treated her well and were helpful all of the time. They are professionals, and know how to care for people who need help. Please thank them for me.

Your personal concern for everyone’s welfare is very evident. You reach out and extend care and compassion to everyone. You are one in a million. I just wanted to thank you for all that you did to make her happy. God bless you.
