Our father, 86 years young, has been living in your community for the past 6 months. We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks for the care you have given him. Here are a few things we have noticed: upon our initial site visit we were introduced to the staff and shown around with everyone showing a passion for their job. We asked if they could have the apartment ready within a week, and it was successfully accomplished. The move in process was seamless. Our father’s living experience in your community has been very enjoyable for him and us, his children. The staff has been very friendly, kind and helpful to him. There are a lot of activities for him to participate in and they keep him up to date and seek him out to participate in the activities. He shared that a staff member asked him to dance, something he has not done in over 20 years and he loved it! He likes the freedom to come and go as he chooses. As for his children, we get the peace of mind that his medication is given to him at the correct dosages and time. As for the meals, he enjoys all of them, the Happy Hour on Fridays, and he has actually gained 20 pounds since he has lived there. In closing, our father’s zest for life has returned, his activities have increased and each day there is something new to look forward to. He has even started reading novels, again.
